Recruiting

Korea — EPS

Work in Korean manufacturing, agriculture or fishing through the government Employment Permit System — after passing the EPS-TOPIK Korean test.

How it works

Korea’s Employment Permit System (EPS) recruits foreign workers through a government-to-government process run by HRD Korea with SEFOPE. Selection is test-based: you sit the EPS-TOPIK Korean-language test and a skills/health check, then enter a roster employers hire from.

Who it is for

  • Usually 18–39 years old, healthy, with no barred record.
  • Must pass the EPS-TOPIK Korean-language test — studying Korean is the single biggest thing you can do.

How to apply — the safe way

  1. Register with SEFOPE and prepare for the EPS-TOPIK test.
  2. Pass EPS-TOPIK and the skills/health checks to enter the job roster.
  3. A Korean employer selects you; HRD Korea and SEFOPE arrange the contract and visa.

🛡 Stay safe: Register and check every step through SEFOPE — the Secretariat of State for Vocational Training and Employment — never through a private “fixer”. A legitimate overseas job never asks a worker to pay a recruitment or placement fee (the employer pays). You may pay only official costs like your passport, and government test or medical fees.
