How it works
The UK’s work visas are sponsor-led: a UK employer licensed by the Home Office must offer you a job and a Certificate of Sponsorship before you apply. The Seasonal Worker route covers short-term horticulture; the Health & Care Worker route covers eligible care and health roles.

How to apply — the safe way
- A licensed sponsor offers you the job and issues a Certificate of Sponsorship.
- Apply for the visa on gov.uk and pay the official visa fee (and healthcare surcharge where it applies).
- Never pay anyone for the job itself or for a Certificate of Sponsorship.

A legitimate overseas job never asks a worker to pay a recruitment or placement fee (the employer pays). You may pay only official costs like your passport, and government test or medical fees.
